The fate of Journalism.

The apparent death of the Journalism industry is troubling to many of us. It is not one of those things-of-old that we can just allow to fall by the way side. There is nothing that can take the place of the Newspaper, no exceptions. The Newspaper is the voice of the people -- Freedom of the Press is vital to the continued Freedom of the People.

Democracy Now has been  a great proponent of journalism.  What makes them special is their commitment to delivering news with the highest of Journalistic integrity.  In a time when a large section of the mainstream news is regurgitating the retoric of their parent corporation, proponents of True Journalism like Democracy NOW! have continued to report news based on Logic and Fact.  It is important that we support our local and national Newspapers, Magazines, and other organizations that provide us with vital information, such as Democracy NOW!, and The Real News Network.
